Vocational Training
Occupational Therapy is the use of purposeful activity to help disabled individuals develop
skills necessary to live a life as normal and independent as possible.
As disabled people may have difficulty to participate in work and self-care activities,
occupational therapy aims to effectively rehabilitate them by training them to compensate
for their disability.
 |
The purpose of this therapy is to maximize one's ability to perform everyday tasks independently
through specific and purposeful activity. This is achieved by enhancing physical and cognitive
function and by preventing secondary disabilities.
