Services in SCAS & FT

The Association provides free transport, education and various rehabilitation treatment such as Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy for some 200 spastic children living in Selangor and the Federal Territory.

Parents with spastic children are advised to bring their children to the centre as early as possible so that the appropriate therapy can be administered to the children with greater effectiveness. These therapies, physio, speech and occupational therapy are carried out by experienced and dedicated personnel.

Furthermore, children of schooling age are enrolled to the School Section while younger children are given proper outpatient treatment. Adult students are employed in the Sheltered Workshop.

Moreover, the Association also carries out interesting and beneficial activities such as sports, music session, swimming, gardening as well as needle-work.
