How Can You Help?

Spastic Children's Association of Selangor & Federal Territory is a self-reliant organization that strives to help every parent who has difficulties raising children with Cerebral Palsy. Their charitable efforts do not go unknown and many individuals as well private companies contribute either in kind, monetary assistance or manpower. You too can make a difference in these children's life. If you wish to help, begin by asking yourself these questions.

Are you interested in any of the following activities?

• Swimming
• Reading
• Teaching
• Computers
• Sewing and making handicrafts
• Gardening
• Horse riding
• Acting

Do you possess any of the following attributes?

• Patience
• Caring
• Loving
• Dedication

If you said yes to any of the above, you are suited to be a volunteer in the association. A volunteer's role is to assist the classroom teacher or therapist by:

• Working with the children on a specific task assigned by the teacher or therapist
• Carrying out a specific programme with one child
• Working with one child all day on a one-to-one basis with all programme and activities
• Working in a specific area with a number of children
• Providing general assitance to a teacher

If you are up to it, fill up the Voluntary Service form and bring it along to the Association.

The Association also accepts any form of donation, may it be in kind or monetary assistance. Please contact the Association before making these donations.
